South Bend, Ind., is known around the world as the home of the University of Notre Dame. It’s also the home for a Class A FM offering “Today’s R&B and Old School” as “Mix 106.”
That station has been engaged in a battle for African American listeners in Michigana with WSMK-FM. But, that will soon come to an end, as the facility is being sold to non-secular broadcaster VCY America, with a Christian Talk & Teaching format on the way.
