In February 2021, a religious broadcast ministry acquired a low-power TV station serving Ohio’s state capital. It’s been operating it as a member station of “The Revival Channel.”
Now, a deal is in place that would transfer control of this facility to another broadcast ministry — one led by Jimmy Swaggart.
Robert W. Rodgers, as President of Word Broadcasting Network Inc., has signed off on the sale of WCSN-LD, with a PSIP of 32 and digital channel 26, in Columbus, Ohio.
A $950,000 purchase price has been agreed to by the parties.
An escrow deposit of $47,500 has been made to Putbrese, Hunsaker & Trent, serving as the buyer’s legal counsel in this transaction.
Word’s legal counsel is Anthony T. Lepore of Radiotvlaw Associates.
There is no broker or finder in this transaction.
Word is making a profit, as it paid $432,000 for WCSN-LD.
