Univision: Surrounding The Consumer Will Include Radio


MIAMI — For more than a year, Univision Communications‘ radio assets have been the subject of some pretty wild rumors. At the Culture Marketing Council’s 2018 annual conference in Los Angeles, talk of Univision Radio properties being sold to Cumulus Media was fast and furious — and unfounded.

Today, one month after a difficult Q2 earnings release that saw CEO Vince Sadusky focus on how Univision is continuing to deleverage, discussions of a major deleveraging — with Univision Radio’s assets front in center in that chatter — persists.

Univision wants to put the chismes to rest and cut the gossip.
