Radio programming syndication firm United Stations, today owned by Gemini XIII and led on a day-to-day basis by President Stefan Jones, has appointed a Director of Affiliate Sales and Special Projects who is already overseeing client partnerships, affiliate engagement and product strategy and development.

In his new role, Ken Prehl will play a lead role in the growth and expansion of United Stations’ key brands, including Boomsite.fm, Phantom Producer, Reuters, and AccuWeather.

Prehl brings more than two decades of experience from AccuWeather, where he most recently served as Director of Audio Services. During his tenure, he rose from broadcaster to head of the company’s radio division.

“Ken and I worked closely together for more than a decade while he served in senior leadership at AccuWeather, and I have the utmost confidence in his professionalism, leadership, and commitment to our vision,” said Jones. “He is uniquely qualified to lead our affiliate relations efforts and help drive growth across our expanding product portfolio.”

Prehl added, “United Stations has a clear trajectory and strong leadership. I’m excited to join the team and help shape the company’s future while delivering meaningful value to our affiliates and partners.”
