“Media land has been pretty beaten up over the past few years, and, for the most part, rightfully so,” says Robert Fishman, a Senior Analyst at MoffettNathanson, in a sobering look at the U.S. media industry. “Downward stock moves have gone hand in hand with negative earnings revisions. The media landscape has grown bleak, and most media stocks have seen a similar picture.”
Yet, Fishman asks, for all the doom and gloom out there, “Is it possible we have hit a bottom?”
