In the words of Nexstar Media Group founder and Chairman/CEO Perry Sook, it was “a moment I’ve been waiting for since forming Nexstar more than 30 years ago.” The publicly traded company that already owns more broadcast television stations than any of its peers had reached a formal agreement to acquire TEGNA.
