The FCC has some major television-centric issues coming up for a vote at its next open meeting.
One of the issues concerns low-power television and television translator’s digital transition.
To be voted on is a Report & Order to extend that deadline as well as “measures that mitigate the impact of incentive auction displacement,” according to the agency.
Certain channel-sharing issues are part of this order as well.
A presentation on the outcome of the recent Telecommunication Union’s World Radio Conference is planned as well.
The next open meeting is Dec. 17.
