All in all, the week of June 22-26 was not a particularly pleasant one for broadcasters that trade shares on one of the stock markets. There were a few modest success stories, but they were drowned out by the other kind of stories.
Among the companies followed by RBR+TVBR, there were more gainers on the television stories, and the worst cases were not as bad.
Entravision, which also has a strong fleet of radio stations, beat all comers with a 2.18% gain, but the counterweight, Tribune, diluted that result with a loss of 2.96%.
Radio had only two happy weeks, with Emmis picking up by 1.82% and Entercom by 1.66%. But the other seven companies were all in the red, with Radio One bringing up the rear.
