A series of asset purchase agreements have been submitted to the FCC for its regulatory approval that, if it gives its OK, would shift ownership to an organization under the direction of Luther Pate IV.
Pate-led Tuske Communications is signing off on the deals, which include the transfer of WMXB-AM and W281CE in Tuscaloosa, Ala.; WWPG-FM in Eutaw, Ala.; and WQZZ-FM in Boligee, Ala.
The assignor is Deadeye LLC, but within that are individual entity Lawson of Tuscaloosa and properties assigned specifically to Jim Lawson and to Mildred Porter.
There is no financial consideration associated with this deal.
