Since joining TitanTV in 1998, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s growth, innovation, and leadership within the broadcast industry. Now, he is preparing for retirement from the broadcast TV SaaS tech services provider.
Mick Rinehart is stepping down from his role as President at the end of May, concluding a career in which he played “a pivotal role in shaping the company’s growth, innovation, and leadership within the broadcast industry.”
“Mick’s leadership at TitanTV has spanned four different decades and the most important chapters in our company’s history,” said CEO Chris Kelly. “Mick has helped guide TitanTV with vision, integrity, and steady leadership. Everyone on our team, myself included, is better for having had the opportunity to work with him. As we celebrate Mick’s extraordinary contributions and say farewell to a valued leader and friend, we wish him a happy and well-deserved retirement.”
Rinehart joined TitanTV during its early years, when the company was focused on packaged software solutions, and helped guide its transformation into a provider of Software as a Service for broadcasters. Over the decades, he contributed to several key milestones in both the company’s evolution and the broader television industry. For example, Rinehart supported the development of antenna information and tools that were critical during the industry’s transition from analog to digital broadcasting, enabled solutions to satellite and local broadcasters to comply with Distant Network delivery regulations, and helped lead the advancement of TitanTV’s program scheduling software. Under his leadership, TitanTV also became an industry source for over-the-air antenna signal prediction services.
“I have been fortunate to work with a core, talented team that has consistently taken ownership of our success, regardless of the market or corporate challenges we encountered,” said Rinehart. “Their passion, dedication, and commitment to delighting our customers have been the driving force behind our high quality of service and the respect we’ve earned across the industry. Our team is grounded in strong roots, and each individual strives to carry those values forward every day. I am extremely proud to have been a contributor to this organization.”
