For 49 months, he had been competing against Hearst Television’s KSBW-8 in the Monterey Bay area as the head of a newsroom that had worked diligently on being not a second fiddle but worthy competitor in the marketplace. Then, the newsroom was disbanded.
Now, after a short stint in the Bay Area at the company that took over KION-46‘s newscasts, he’s been chosen to head up CBS Stations‘ newsroom for its two Sacramento stations.
