Stocks posted solid gains on Friday as corporate profits helped offset the ongoing uncertainty regarding the U.S.’s debt ceiling. The Dow rose 43 points to close at 12,480. All in all, it was a slightly up day for radio stocks, and a solid down day for television stocks.
The RBR Radio Index was up 1.887, or 0.5%, to 357.408
The TVBR Television Index was down 9.400, or 3.6%, to 252.478
