If you’re a fan of unconventional Head Coach Dan Campbell and veteran starting Quarterback Jared Goff — in addition to the many talented players that don a Detroit Lions uniform — there’s a good chance you’ve been tuned to 97.1 MHz or the station’s live streaming audio on SiriusXM each game day.
That won’t change come August, thanks to a fresh deal with the NFL team and Audacy.
That’s thanks to a multi-year extension of the current broadcast rights agreement between the Ford family-owned Lions, rejuvenated under Campbell since the 2022 season, and WXYT-FM “97.1 The Ticket.”
The station will continue as the team’s radio home, broadcasting all pre-, regular and post-season games. Streaming audio via iHeartMedia, Audacy and TuneIn is geoblocked for those outside of the Lions’ territory.

WXYT-FM will continue to air the “Lions Review Show” hosted by play-by-play voice for the Lions Radio Network, Dan Miller, and station hosts Will Burchfield and Bob Wojnowski. The show airs on Mondays in-season in the 6pm hour, starting August 31.
Throughout the season, guests — including Campbell and Goff — will make weekly appearances on the morning and midday shows.
