A pair of LPTV properties in the Catskills of New York is being sold by entrepreneur and 5G TV advocate “SuperFrank” Copsidas, and the FCC has just granted the transfer of control request associated with the deal.
The Ron Bruno-led Gulf Boulevard Broadcasting LLC agreed to purchase WYNB-LD in Ellenville, N.Y., and WZPK-LD in Monticello, N.Y., from the Copsidas-led Hudson TV LLC.
On Friday, regulatory approval came from the Commission. A $250,000 purchase price has been agreed to by the parties. Terms call for a $75,000 payment on the first closing date. A $175,000 payment will be made on the second closing date.
Copsidas’ legal counsel is Mark Denbo of Smithwick & Belendiuk. Bruno is represented by Joan Stewart of Wiley Law.
Gulf Boulevard is a 50/50 partnership between two Bruno-led LLCs: Foxwood Partners and Vision Communications.
