The weakness of the US dollar against other currencies gave a boost to shares of natural resource companies and pushed the entire market higher. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 127 points, or 1.2%, to a 14-month high of 10,472. Broadcasting stocks enjoyed the up market as well.
The RBR Radio Index was up 4.868, or 2.7%, to 187.074.
The TVBR Television Index was up 2.224, or 2.1%, to 105.996.
