Stocks ended lower Thursday, quitting two days of gains, as earnings reports from Goldman Sachs and Citigroup took down the financial sector. The Dow fell 64.93 points, or 0.4%, to 16,417.01.

The TVBR Television Index was down 5.466, or .7%, to 801.065.
