Worries about airline security kept a damper on stock trading, but a good report from a MasterCard unit about retail sales was good news. The Dow Jones Industrial Average ended Monday’s session up 27 points, or 0.3%, at a 2009 high of 10.547. TV stocks joined the modest rally, but radio was left out.
The RBR Radio Index was down 8.443, or 4.1%, to 198.582.
The TVBR Television Index was up 0.612, or 0.5%, to 127.039 – its high for the year.
