The Conference Board reported a drop in its closely watched Consumer Confidence Index, which was bad news for Wall Street, but there was also good news in the S&P Case-Shiller index showing an upturn in home prices. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 12 points, or 0.1%, to 10,538. However, the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite were down a bit. Broadcasting stocks were among the gainers.
The RBR Radio Index was up 16.536, or 6%, to 293.122.
The TVBR Television Index was up 3.657, or 1.9%, to 199.704.
