On May 11, 2022, the President/CEO of The Marks Media Group and former Michigan Association of Broadcasters Board and Foundation Chairman Stephen A. Marks died at the age of 72.
Fourteen months later, two stations in Wisconsin licensed to an entity led by Marks were sold to Sage Weil’s Civic Media. Now, RBR+TVBR has confirmed that the remainder of the stations within the Marks stable licensed to Michigan are being sold.
Who’s the buyer? It’s not a non-secular entity.
