Some buyers are returning to the market after recent price drops made some stocks attractive, but there’s still not much enthusiasm. Also, big job cuts by Bank of America didn’t help the atmosphere. The Dow Jones Industrial Average moved up 37 points, or 0.3%, to 10,855. Broadcasting stocks missed out on the tiny advance by the blue chips.
The RBR Radio Index was down 12.973, or 4.5%, to 275.166.
The TVBR Television Index was down 3.877, or 2%, to 194.654.
