She’s been in the Salt Lake City market as a radio sales pro since fall 1993 and joined Clear Channel Communications in June 1998 after 4 1/2 years across the street at Citadel Communications to become VP of Sales.
Now the SVP of Sales for stations in the market owned today by iHeartMedia will rise to Market Manager.
Earning the promotion is Joyce Wirthlin, reporting to iHeartMedia Division President Nick Gnau. “I am very excited to have Joyce leading this team in Salt Lake City,” he said. “Since the day I started working with Joyce, I was impressed with her leadership, the culture she has built with her team and the deep knowledge of the market. I have no doubt that she will propel this team.”
