For some eight years, she was the Sr. VP of Partnerships at Katz Media Group. Now, in an announcement that omits her time at that firm, spread across two tenures, she’s resurfaced as VP/Sales for Skyview Networks — taking a role focused on network audio sales and new client development across agencies and advertisers.
Liz Stillman brings more than 25 years of media and advertising experience to Skyview, with a career built on opening new categories and developing long-term partnerships, the company says.
“She joins the company with deep expertise in network audio sales and a record of leading agency sales for national media brands, a combination that allows her to build programs the way agencies plan them,” Skyview adds.
Specifically, Stillman was VP and Director of Sales at KMG from 2003-2010, before becoming Group Advertising Director and Head of Agency Sales at Bloomberg Media. She then returned to Katz in 2018.
In her new role, Stillman is being tasked with expanding Skyview’s network audio sales portfolio, deepening relationships with agencies and audio investment teams and develop integrated solutions that combine Skyview’s network and affiliate reach with custom brand programs.
“She knows the audio business, how agencies plan and how to open a door that has never been opened before,” said Steve Jones, President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Skyview Networks. “Bringing Liz to Skyview is an investment not only in revenue growth, but also in the long-term strength of the relationships that will continue to drive our business forward.”
Stillman added, “Network audio still does something no other medium does, putting a brand in front of a national audience at scale, in an environment people trust. Skyview has the reach, station partnerships and technology to deliver that, and I am looking forward to opening those conversations and building programs that deliver measurable results.”
Before joining Katz, Stillman enjoyed a career in the advertising world, serving as a Sr. AE at DDB from 2000-2002. There, she managed integrated marketing and promotional programs for clients including Starwood Hotels, ExxonMobil, Hershey Foods, YES Network and New York Lottery.
Before that, Stillman served as an account executive for McCann Erickson, working on the Lowe’s account. She began her career in 1996 as an AE for HALO Branded Solutions, supporting event marketing and experiential programs for clients including Motorola, Sports Illustrated, and Time Inc.
Stillman holds a degree in Psychology from Syracuse University.
