The recently launched national radio arm of the company that’s parent to Estrella Media and storied New York broadcast stations WQHT “HOT 97” and WBLS has brought to life a Hispanic-targeted bilingual audio network “created to celebrate, empower and connect with the modern multicultural woman.”
Introducing Alpha Woman, which is housed within MediaCo‘s Sigma Audio Networks division.
Built around the tagline “Where Her Voice Leads,” Alpha Woman delivers what Sigma calls a mix of contemporary music, lifestyle programming, cultural conversation, “and
inspirational voices that reflect the ambition, creativity, and influence of today’s women.”
“Women are not only shaping culture — they are driving economic influence and
defining what comes next,” said Elisa Torres, President/CEO of Sigma Audio
Networks. “Multicultural women are powerful leaders in their homes, their communities,
and in business. Alpha Woman was created to amplify their voices, their stories, and
their influence.”
For advertisers, reach via affiliate radio stations, integrated linear and digital ad campaigns and opportunities for experiential marketing come with Alpha Woman.
“Multicultural women are cultural leaders and powerful decision makers within
households and communities,” said Jason Corelli, SVP of Audio Integrated Sales at Sigma. “Alpha Woman creates a premium environment where brands can connect authentically
with this audience through culture, conversation, and meaningful storytelling.”
The network will launch with an expanding group of affiliate partners nationwide, with
additional markets expected to join throughout 2026.
