Forget looking at last year’s third quarter earnings report from Sinclair Inc. and trying to judge the company’s fiscal performance by simply comparing them blindly to this year’s financial health report.
Thanks to poor comps, the numbers were down. But, as CEO Chris Ripley explained ahead of a Wednesday afternoon earnings call for investors and analysts, “Sinclair delivered a strong third quarter, achieving the high end of guidance for advertising and distribution revenue, while media expenses and Adjusted EBITDA beat expectations.”
