Salem’s OTT Arm Pacts With ‘Epoch Times’

The growing OTT video-focused streaming platform from Salem Media Group has partnered with the 23-year-old conservative-leaning news organization founded in protest of the People’s Republic of China’s Communist Party — a growing news organization that puts a feature-length documentary on the SalemNOW platform.

That’s the first content to be distributed under a licensing agreement with EpochTV, the streaming division of The Epoch Times.

For those on SalemNOW, EpochTV’s feature-length documentary, LEAVING CALIFORNIA: The Untold Story, is available for rental or purchase. This is a first for EpochTV, which historically distributes its content exclusively on its own platform, Salem Media Group notes.

SalemNOW General Manager Robert Ellis calls it a privilege to partner with The Epoch
Times.

“SalemNOW’s rapid growth and success make them an ideal partner for us as we look to increase awareness about the critical issues we address in our film,” says documentary host, writer and producer Siyamak Khorrami.

His 70-minute feature-length film focuses on what he calls “the unprecedented mass exodus” of California residents to other states.

It is available on SalemNOW for $3.99 to rent or $6.99 to purchase.
