Rosenworcel’s New NPRM: Killing ‘Junk Fees’ On Cable Bills

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Newly empowered with a third Democrat on the FCC to fuel an agenda originally targeted for a Spring 2021 launch, Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel has raised the ire of Republicans by moving forward with a long-expected push to return “net neutrality” to broadband via a return of Title II classification.


Now, Rosenworcel wants the Commission to tackle what she is calling “junk fee” billing practices by cable operators and direct broadcast satellite service providers DirectTV and Dish.
