Reports: GE and Vivendi come to terms

The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, the Financial Times and other financial news sites are reporting that General Electric has agreed to pay $5.8 billion for the 20% of NBC Universal owned by Vivendi. Agreeing on a price for the Vivendi stake had been holding up an expected deal to have Comcast acquire 51% of NBCU, with GE holding onto 49%.
