NEW YORK — It comes with “fresh perspectives, amazing people and all kinds of new-to-you and new-to-market tech.”
That’s the big marketing push behind an annual event at the Javits Center in Manhattan that’s become in the last year a draw for radio industry leaders and executives who seek a gathering place that keeps them in the spotlight.
The 2023 NAB Show New York is on schedule for October 24-26, and registration is now open.
“This is where thousands of just-like-you content economy professionals gather to access pivotal insight and get hands-on,” the NAB promises.
What can attendees expect to see at the event, held at a venue on the West Side at the northern tip of the High Line?
A “wayyy bigger!” Cine Live Lab offers attendees to dive into “uniquely curated sessions, demos and networking events designed to highlight the synergies between cinematic and broadcast-style production.”
Then, there is the new FotoFusion event, designed for independent creatives, photographers and a growing range of others who leverage a hybrid mix of equipment to capture and produce content.
Additionally, NAB Show New York promises Insight + Intel from these returning and all-new paid conferences “that address what demands your attention today to design your future tomorrow.”
These conference include a “Broadcast Content Summit,” and the “Radio Insights| Executive Seminar.”
And, like in 2022, that seminar dovetails with the NAB Marconi Radio Awards, to be held on Wednesday, October 25. The ceremony honors radio stations and on-air personalities for excellence in radio.
