ENCO’s multilingual workflow products for broadcasters have gotten a new text-to-voice offering — just in time for attendees of the 2026 NAB Show to get a first look at the technological advancement.
As ENCO sees it, enSpeak converts translated text into natural, expressive speech in real time.
It’s a real-time voice translation products that expands ENCO’s captioning and translation offerings, which have attracted many across past NAB Show events. This year they’ll be ensconced in Las Vegas Convention Center Central Hall Booth C2116.
The new technology adds natural-sounding, low-latency voice translation to ENCO’s existing workflow, enabling audiences to hear live programming in their preferred language alongside translated captions.
“Broadcasters and AV professionals have made it clear that voice translation is the next step in accessibility,” ENCO President Ken Frommert said. “With enSpeak, we are extending our proven captioning and translation technologies to deliver real-time spoken language translation, helping audiences better understand and engage with live content wherever they are.”
In television workflows, enSpeak can deliver translated audio through secondary audio program (SAP) channels, allowing viewers to tune in and hear live broadcasts in their preferred language.
