It’s a new industry competition for radio’s on-air talent and programs showcasing the audio talent that listeners say they love most, and it has extended its audio submission deadline by one week. One to three-minute audio submissions are sought, with cash prizes awarded to the winners.
Introducing Radio’s Got Talent, which is now accepting audio submissions until Thursday, January 26.
Interested parties may submit their entries to www.radiosgottalent.com. Each person or show may submit in more than one of 10 categories (with a maximum of three entries allowed per person or show), including: Top 40/Main & Rhythmic, AC/Hot AC, Alternative, Rock/Classic Rock, Classic Hits/80’s, Country, Urban, Christian, Sports, and Talk.
Radio’s Got Talent will award cash prizes for the most entertaining radio programs and personalities in the U.S. across multiple formats, totaling $10,000.
NuVoodoo Media Services has been brought for the use of its proprietary software and systems to have randomly selected paid respondents evaluate all eligible entries for their entertainment value. At least 100 screened respondents across the U.S. will evaluate each valid submission to reveal what on-air talent listeners like best in each category.
The Radio’s Got Talent contest is open to radio programs and personalities of multiple formats and experience levels. Entrants must be at least 18 years of age. Internet radio talent and shows, as well as broadcast radio talent and shows, are eligible to participate, so long as they are based in the United States. x
Winners will be revealed and recognized at the All Access Audio Summit in Los Angeles, scheduled for April 2023.
