Conservative talkers Jim Quinn and Rose Tennent (“The War Room with Quinn and Rose”) recently ended their run at CCME’s Talker WPGB-FM Pittsburgh. Since we’ve run the story (click here), there has been an overwhelming negative response to the move from Clear Channel from RBR-TVBR readers. In a statement, a CCME spokesperson told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette the station tried to reach new terms with Jim and Rose, but it was unsuccessful. The readers think it was a bit more sinister than that and are flipping mad about it.
Meanwhile, Quinn and Rose posted this statement on their website:
“The Quinn and Rose show has been on the air for 18 years with great success. Ten of those years were at 104.7. We love doing our show.
We want our listeners to know how much we have enjoyed bringing you the news every morning. We feel like we are all part of one big family. Your loyalty and support over the years has meant so much to us and we think you know that.
Please know that we appreciate each and every one of you. A morning without you is like a morning without coffee. And we HATE a morning without coffee!! You have always meant so much to us. We cannot find words adequate to express to you just how much.
As we have new information, we will keep you posted at www.warroom.com on the front page. Be sure to check in there periodically for updates.
Our commitment has been, and will always be, to conservative values and to this great country of ours.

Now that I’m back in the Pittsburgh area again this happens?! Seriously WPGB is making a huge mistake. I’m done with them. I’ll find another way to get Rush, et al. Likely Quinn got too close to the truth that someone didn’t like. Can’t wait for them to return. There is no better radio host than Jim Quinn.

I lived in the Pittsburgh area for many years and listened to Q&R via FM radio, then moved to Florida and finally to Costa Rica where I listened to them on line via WYSL, Rochester, NY or WFRB, Frostburg, MD. Since Bozzo has replaced Q&R, I now listen to FOX news Radio till around 8am, then switch to
KZRG, Joplin MO. They carry Limbaugh, Savage & Levin. In no way will I waste
my time and intelligence listening to “Bozzo radio”.
A buddy and I in Western Wisconsin have been listening to Quinn in anyway we could since the mid-1990’s. For more than a few years, my friend listened to them from Colorado when he moved. I still listened from Wisconsin. Live stream, podcasts, whatever it took. Quinn and Rose needs to go national – whomever picks them up won’t regret it. Big mistake on 104.7 and CCM’s part, BIG mistake!
Why is it 104.7’s mistake??? ANYBODY…anybody think that maybe JUST maybe Q&R tossed out a number to keep them there that was insanely high?? If I had a boatload of irrationally motivated hardcore fans like them, maybe my head would swell a bit and i’d overprice my worth. Did you ever think of that?
I first turned on my radio in my truck Monday morning only to discover another host or show on in place of Quinn and Rose. My first thoughts were that they were on vacation, but no explanation from this host and that was strange. I tried to cal the station and got a busy signal several times over. I assumed Quinn and Rose listeners were burning up the phone lines with complaints and rightly so. As I am a delivery driver it’s hard to know what’s going on as I’m in and out of my truck all day. I did manage to get through to the Bloom Daddy number and the call screener asks what I want to talk to him about. I said I don’t want to talk to him, but I asked the call screener if BD knew he was substituting for Quinn and Rose? Then he begins to tell me it came down from Pittsburgh and drags out an explanation. Anyway I told him to tell BD that I think he sucks! I just found out today from another listener that they were fired. But I don’t know if that’s true either? In any event they ruined my week. I want Quinn and Rose back. And I thought something funny was going on as some time ago IHeart Radio removed their show from the Roku device I was listening to previous shows on. I won’t ever again Listen to 104.7, they can go straight to you know where! who’s next? Glenn Beck Or ElRushbo?

Quinn & Rose are absolutely the BEST morning show in America, the only ones that make my 90+ minute drive to work tolerable. This is a HUGE mistake Clear Channel and WPGB. I too will be boycotting ALL of your advertisers (especially Al-Jazeera), and encourage all of Q&R’s listeners to do the same untill they are brought back. Without advertising and ratings, the station is nothing.

Quinn & Rose were an amazing resource to me. I was kept informed about our world and community. They taught me history that I never learned. They provided Christian based and Conservative views concerning our great country. They made me feel good about being an American and proud to love the USA. They supported our wonderful troops and veterans, and kept us informed about how to help. I turned my radio on at 6am and listened until 10:00 every day. I looked forward to being informed and updated in an intelligent manner. And now, Clear Channel, you have removed a wonderful and intelligent program, and given me sports, Kardashian info, sports (like we need more of this), Hollywood stories, and Bloomdaddy…REALLY???? I feel like I’m living Atlas Shrugged! You have shown your true colors…was it worth it?

Nathan Daschle’s name may not be as recognizable as his father, Tom Daschle. The senior Daschle is the former Democrat Senator and Majority Senate Leader from S. Dakota until he was turned out by his electorate, defeated by Senator John Thune in 2004. Like so many politicians, he became a Washington lobbyist, was a supporter of Obama, and was Obama’s initial choice for Secretary of Health & Human Services, but withdrew his name amid controversay re the accuracy and payment of income taxes. What a “Co-inky-dink!”

I am so sorry that the contract for Quinn & Rose was not renewed. I loved listening to them and always learned so much. To the CCME spokesperson you are right, we do believe your motives were sinister. What a joke having that quoted in another sinister publication. I guess we are expected to listen to only what the higher powers want us to hear and it will definitely not be you.
Perhaps Quinn and Rose should get a spot on CTV? Or perhaps WORD-FM? Especially since people of faith are being marginalized and Quinn & Rose definitely have been marginalized, it might make a good partnership.

I live in Tennessee, but I travel a lot, and when I do, I like to listen to conservative talk radio. Looks like this duo has the “right stuff” so I am going to make a point to listen to them online….and support their sponsors.

Ive been listening to Quinn from the very beginning in 1993, even before Rose came along when Paula Fuller (I think was her name) was the producer ! I even remember JQ from (dare I say it) the B-94 days with Banana Don.
It infuriates me that this move has been made by CC. I cant wait until you guys are back on somewhere, and hopefully not some tiny AM station nobody can get. Love you and miss you guys ! Your listeners are devastated.

I have been listening to Quinn since early 90’s on WRRK, the first FM radio talk show in history. He was just as good then, So good that I would tape his programs. His show has only improved since then, and adding Rose, added a feminine touch, some morality,(he called her ” Church Lady” back then, and definitely some humor. I think Rose has also been good for Jim. This is not just a contract dispute, but an organized attack on incorrect political speech. Put in the context of the filibuster removal in the Senate and invitations to liberal journalists to be indoctrinated in the White House today, it is obvious that the left is doubling down on Obamacare, free speech,any kind of political accomodation with conservatives, and God knows what else. We need to be not just vigilant, but politically active and not let theses things stand. We need to be as courageous and steadfast as our Founding Fathers or freedom is dead.
I listened to 104.7 all the time because of Jim Quinn and Rose, I have turned it off and will not return to them unless they are hired back. In the mean time I will listen to Blaze radio, not a chance will I listen to Clear Channel. This is pure censorship!! Will be waiting to hear where Q and R go, when they return I will have them back on my radio! Miss those two already! WPGB AND CLEAR CHANNEL SUCK!!

I’ve listened to them every morning from 7:00 until 10:00 for the last approx. 10 years. They are the very best. They are very intelligent and keeps us informed on what is going on in our government. I’m not interested in listening to their replacement. PLEASE PUT THEM BACK ON!!!!!
I first found Q&R accidentally. I liked them so much I went and purchased an XM radio. I am retired AF and I get up at 6 just to listen to Q&R. When XM/Clear Channel dropped their program, I cancelled my XM subscription. By then, (luckily) I had discovered I Heart. My anger toward WPGB is unbounded and as a former DJ, I understand business decisions. I can also see and understand stupidity and this is a tremendous display of arrogance and stupidity. May God Bless Quinn and Rose. I am looking forward to their reappearance in the near future. Oh, by the way, I now refuse to listen to any Clear Channel station. Does anyone think this was a business decision or a political one?
This is terrible news. I can’t listen in the morning since I’m at work, so I catch up on the weekend by listening to the pod-casts. I went there and saw there were no new ones up since the 14th, then I read this. I like a lot of conservative hosts, but nobody gets to the real darkness behind what’s happening like Quinn, most if not all other hosts are afraid to go where he does. Find a new home soon, someone said the Blaze. That would be great if they have room. Joe Pags can get the boot, he annoys me.

We currently have the absolute WORST administration ripping and shredding our constitution daily, stealing our freedoms from under our noses and the one thing we could always count on was Quinn and Rose to be there and help us understand what was going on. I discontinued supporting WPGB advertisers the day I read about what happened. If someone out there with half a brain knows what’s good for them, they will hire these two and put them back on the air.

Of all the talk radio shows I listen to this was 1st on my list to get the inside scoop of what was going on. Truly a blast to listen to. Hey Jim! WLAC in Nashville just carries the WSJ report in your time slot. Will not be renewing my XM subscription once it expires.
On Monday morning, I turned on Quinn as usual. When I heard what was on the air, I felt like I was in the twilight zone. We’ve been listening to Quinn since the late 90’s back in the days of Clinton scandals. Do you folks at Clear Channel know your audience? If you did, you certainly wouldn’t have replaced Quinn with this Bloom Daddy person. Quinn listeners are used to some substance to what we listen to in the morning–not listening to some guy blather on about his son’s broken cell phone or his son’s refusal to wear a mask to play sports or his view that Walmart needs to spread the wealth. We didn’t care so much for Rose’s rambling rants. But we miss the substantive information Quinn worked hard to provide for us each morning.
Q and R brought humor to the insanity! They also never backed down from the TRUTH. This Country is starving forTRUTH! This is why the statists Had to shut them down.. they were too effective. I became worried when I heard Jim say ( essentially to ‘ media matters’) ..” there is nothing you can do about this show”. The leftest freeks said..oh yes there is and they are coming for all of talk radio..we the people are the only ones who can stop this tyranny. And WE must save Quinn and Rose!
I’m in total shock about Quinn & Rose being cancelled. The show was so informative-I loved the articles shared that I would never have time to read, and I loved Rose’s spirituality. I have been listening to them for years. It was the best part of the morning, and I learned something every day. I feel like a close friend has died. This is really unfair to all us listeners. I was saddened when Michael Savage left, but I did enjoy the evening shows. Now that they’re gone too, I wonder who is pressuring the station to remove the best of the best, giving us leftovers.

Reading what the listeners have said thus far, I agree this smells like a Democratic move without a doubt. If you can’t defeat someone with logic, you silence them. Hopefully it won’t work, they’ll find another platform for the show. I’ve listened to Quinn from the very beginning, 18 years ago and always enjoyed the truth he shared about the liberals, with some humor as well! Truth is a fleeting reality today, especially with this bunch of politicians we have in both houses of congress and particularly in the White House. I’ve known Rose since she was a very young adult in my church in Greensburg, Pa. and have always admired her commitment to Christ and her steadfast desire to get out the truth. I’m praying the enemy will not be victorious in keeping them off the air.
I’m doing everything possible to make sure everybody I know find something else to listen to besides Clear Channel Stations.

He does has othothstations on his network, check out glenmeakem.com to find those other stations if you understandably want to stay away from 104.7. One week of Q&R withdrawal, tried Bill Bennett, too RINO for my taste. Mancow is just insane, no morning zoos for me. Seems like conservative talk radio is being silenced. Why would a show that is number one in its market in all age groups ever be cancelled? Hope there is a station smart enough and not under the thumb of this administration to pick Quinn and Rose up.

I’ve been following Jim and Rose since ’94 and took a brief time out when I moved to another state. I quickly found them back on the radio in my new town only to find out they were moved off that station as well. Thank goodness for iHeart radio. I found them once again back on 104.7. Sadly, for now, we have lost two of the best conservative radio talk show hosts in America. But the one thing I know is that they are strong and will endure. I can guarantee that a whoever picks them up will increase their ratings practically overnight! So, for me, it’s not “goodbye.” Rather, it’s “until next time.” I look forward to what the future has to hold for you both.

I was upset when Clear channel stopped broadcasting “The Jerry Doyle Show”, but managed to maintain my cool, however this latest boondoggle is the very worst decision on Clear channel’s part. How could they let Quinn and Rose go?

Clear Channel along with Mr. Daschle have made some really poor judgments in their channel line up. Along with XM. It does appear that it is a back door way to get conservative radio out of the market. I guess they think by doing this they will win. Jim Quinn and Rose Tennent were two of the best people I had the honor of knowing. I was a wood stove dealer during the Y2K run up and got to know them both. What I found were not just two very good people-I found true friends. They were friends to everyone they met.

I personally know that Nathan Daschle has nothing to do with what shows air on WPGB or any other Clear Channel station, a company that has done more for conservative talk radio than practically anyone.
I know the facts about how this business works. I’m sorry you lost your show, but perhaps you should learn about broadcasting and the situation the industry is in before coming on here and spouting conspiracy theories and trash attacks about the business I and thousands of other capitalist, free market Americans work in every day.
If you’re a conservative, you should seek the truth and the facts instead of attacking Clear Channel.
Alan Wilcox is not telling the whole truth, I just googled Nathan Daschle and he is the EVP for political Strategy at Clear Channel. He was hired to build out thier business with political advertisers and agencies that work with political campaigns I don’t think it is a stretch to assume that given his family connection he will focus on Democratic campaign advertising and obviously Q&R would not help that strategy. I would categorize this one under “if you like your radio station you can keep it” yea right.

As someone else who’s in the biz, I’m just as flabbergasted at how this is being painted as “shutting up Conservative voices”. To use moves of Jerry Doyle and Michael Savage from the station as further examples is laughable.
Jerry Doyle’s show was running into distribution problems, because of it being Talk Radio Network. Nothing to do with CC decisions.
Michael Savage? Left Talk Radio Network for Cumulus. As in, CC’s top competitor. Nothing to do with CC decisions.
Hannity will remain a CC property, while Rush is split between CC & Cumulus and will continue to be so, after signing a new deal earlier this fall.
Anyone who’s paid enough attention to the biz knows this is exactly CC’s SOP: contract up? You’re making too much. Buh-bye.

I am furious that Quinn and Rose have been cancelled! Quinn and Rose are among the best talk show hosts in the nation — entertaining, incisive and politically astute in their observations. Clear Channel is obviously caving in to leftist demagogues who want to stifle conservative voices of sanity. I agree with those who want to boycott 104.7 and its sponsors! I will be watching to see which radio station is smart enough to snatch up the dynamic duo of Q & R, and I will be listening to that station from now on!
Thought Quinn and Rose were on vacation when I hear Bloomdaddy that first morning. Only took about 5 minutes to figure out he couldn’t be their stand in. Went after Walmart, private schools, and making his kid wear a helmet while pitching. Long and short – Clear Channel lost me as a listener on ALL their stations. I’m double checking the ownership for all the stations on the dial and avoiding anything to do with Clear Channel regardless of the format.

How can Clear Channel be “caving” to “leftists” when the bulk of all Clear Channel talk stations are conservative, they only syndicate one liberal host – Randi Rhodes, who barely hung onto a contract and then got it renewed for one year, and Clear Channel stations nationally are the major outlets for Beck, Limbaugh, Ramsey, and many others?
The cancellation of one show over a contract discussion does not make CC part of a left wing conspiracy. Nor does Bloomquist supporting kids being safe and Walmart paying a living wage make him a left winger.
Please do some homework before making yourselves and the conservative talk audience look ignorant and poorly spoken by flooding an industry website with rants and raves about conspiracy, liberals, Nathan Daschle, and the FCC. The FCC doesn’t even listen to WPGB – or notice it until they get sent a complaint, or have to renew the license, or collect a fee. The FCC has routinely declined to get involved in radio programming apart from indecency.

Quinn and Rose let the audience know that channel 288 was going dark…they would have let the established listeners know…if not on the air, on their web site. There are some things the Jim does that no other talk jock does. His audience is a participating audience. They provide him with real life information.
When Benghazi occurred Quinn came up with information that no one else had about the Seals laser tagging the target…You did not hear that anywhere. Do I think it was a conspiracy. No. I believe Quinn found something out from a reliable source that he would not put in harms way. I think the FCC knows that as well. Do I think the government is out to get Quinn and Rose…NO! Yet, I do think they felt there was some information that was too close for comfort.
We are angry about one of the best shows out there being cancelled.

It has nothing to do with their politics. Clear Channel stations are MAJORITY CONSERVATIVE.
They only syndicate ONE liberal program – Randi Rhodes – that’s carried on a handful of stations.
This is not about dissent or politics. It’s about a company that paid too much for too long for too many stations and hosts having to trim the costs for their shareholders.
I advise you to do some research into the radio industry before painting us as a bunch of biased reactionaries that pull shows simply because of politics or as part of some conspiracy.
By the way, sports talk is a HOT format. More people listen to and advertise on sports radio in many markets than advertise on any other form of talk. People love sports and we capitalist broadcasters simply follow the money. After thorough investigation and accurate intuitive observation, CCMO, parent to CC, has been pressured by the FCC simular to how the Feds raided and manipulated the banks thru political pressure.
CC will eventually collapse catering to the SLAKERS. CCMO’s balance sheet is pityfull. Some will call it backrupt. Garbage in, garbage out BUSINESS.
Got proof? Please post it – I deal with CC and its staff on a regular basis and I seem to have missed this FCC pressure/government involvement in their workings. What you’re accusing is pretty serious and if you can prove it, we in the industry should know.

I no longer have any reason to listen to WPGB. The channel I start with in the morning is usually the one I stay with for the rest of the day. I can find the same afternoon lineup with a better morning program in a lot of other places with iheartradio.

The Fairness Doctrine was repealed ages ago, and isn’t coming back. Republicans and Democrats have agreed and made that clear. Apart from the occasional fringe suggestion to bring it back, there’s no serious support for it. The entire FCC is against it. So is the President. and so on.
I know you probably won’t believe that – but there is no Fairness Doctrine, and there’s not even a legal obligation to tell the truth on the airwaves you the public own. So enjoy that.

It appears that Clear Channel is buckling to the new de-facto fairness doctrine and has done the same thing in other markets. Bob Davis, the best local originating conservative in Minneapolis/St. Paul morning radio with good ratings, recently got the same treatment as Quinn and Rose and replaced by a less “controversial” show. The best locally originating nationally syndicated afternoon drive-time conservative (Jason Lewis, a former Rush fill-in) managed to stay on only by jumping to another, much smaller, syndicator after not “being able to come to terms” with Clear Channel in spite of good ratings. Clear Channel will probably not drop Rush/Hannity/Beck as they couldn’t get away with it yet, but I anticipate more targeting of local origin conservative programming. God bless Quinn and Rose. Hopefully they will resurface at another station with another syndicator.
Local radio costs money. Clear Channel is a business. If the shows aren’t bringing in enough of the right demographic or bringing in enough $$ then a smart business cuts costs.

The people of Pittsburgh who have come to know and respect Jim Quinn and Rose Tennant have been hoodwinked…First if they were in negotiations, Quinn and Rose would have given their listening audience a heads up. It’s bad enough that the mainstream affiliates twist the truth, now we have Clear Channel putting in a West Virginia talk jock that does not know how to satisfy this well established listening audience. I didn’t know who the heck was on the radio that first morning, but quickly turned it off….yuk! Figured Quinn & Rose were on vacation. Shocked to find out they were let go. No more 104.7 for me….I don’t like anyone better than Quinn & Rose..they are so entertaining! If I can find Beck, Rush or Hannity on XM or another station, I’ll listen to them.
For my morning drive, I’ve been listening to all the new Blues CD’s I haven’t had a chance to hear……better than listening to that Schmuck on Clear Channel.

I’ve listened to Quinn since the early days at KQV radio in Pittsburgh. As a loyal listener for the past 18 years Quinn & Rose has been my reliable source for truth, sanity and common sense. I miss their great insight to local, national and global issues other media sources refuse to cover. Here’s an opportunity for another station to pick up a huge Q&R listening audience that will follow them anywhere. We live in Ohio in the Wheeling WV listening area. When WWVA dropped Q&R for Bloom Daddy they lost a listener. With the loss of Quinn & Rose WPGB shall also loose us, our neighbors & friends as listeners. WPGB had the best morning show in radio. What were they thinking???

I miss Quinn & Rose each morning. They brought a sense of sanity to the morning! Really? Do we really need more of what WPBG has put in their place? We can get that all day long on every other channel! Now that read a previous post that Tom Daschle’s son has taken a position at Clear Channel, I wonder how long the other conservative talk shows will last. I don’t have to listen, and can get the truth on another station or on the internet. I will be praying that they come back to give truth to Americans every moring once again.

did the fcc or the Obama administration pressure you into this or are you people just idiots?……I turned the radio on Monday as I always do and instead of Quinn there is some idiot on there talking sports…….I will continue to listen and email the sponsors of the show and tell them I and my like minded friends will boycott them…….this is reminiscent of the late 70’s when 104.7 was wydd “steel city rock” and they changed format to sports and it fell flat on its face…….I will also contact sean Hannity and rush Limbaugh with my concerns, both of whom I have met in person socially and do know who I am…….you people are despicable for this putting some idiot in place of people who had one heck of a following……but its your radio station, and all I can do is to make sure that my group of like minded people boycott your sponsors

Just know that no matter where you go, I will be listening as so many of my family members and friends. Jim, I saw you in your car a few months ago on 79S. (we were in the slow lane…ha!!) Love the color! We beeped at you and waved and we’re happy to see you even it was just passing us on the road. Rose, I came to Tea Party rallies downtown and heard you and Quinn speak in Butler County a couple of years ago. You make an awesome team and I am and always will be so proud to call you both, fellow Pittsburghers.
Thank you for standing up for America and saying like it is. Obama is a communist. I’ve understood this for some time now. If people would just open their eyes and read and understand of how they did it over in Europe. Remember, Adolf Hitler was very much liked by the Germans, at first. When I came to the realization that Q&R was no longer on the radio,it was deeply depressing and akin to mourning a loss. This was a very poor decision of Clear Channel and I hope it hits them where the money matters. No business with an ounce of common sense would tick off their consumers the way Clear Channel did, what with the supportive audience of Q&R and the ratings they had. I believe that the decision to drop Q&R was not about money. If I know Q&R as well as I think I do, having listened to them for the last 10 years, they would not have left their audience over any pay adjustment. They truly loved what they did and were dedicated to standing up for America and those who cherished freedom. I opine that Mr. Daschle, being the lawyer that he is, “advised” Clear Channel that Q&R should change their discussion to make it “fair” or “balanced”, in other words “moderate” or more left-leaning, and again, knowing Q&R like I think I do, Q&R stood up in their convictions and told the Media Commies “nyet”; therefore, Clear Channel decided to let them go. Quinn used to talk about how progressives and communists chip away at the walls of freedom, piece by piece and brick by brick. Now we have witnessed this first hand. I pray for Q&R and pray that God opens another door for them, allowing them to stand up for us and continue to spread the word of freedom.
I was shocked and dismayed to hear that Quinn and Rose were taken off the air. I listened to them every morning and even on I Heart Radio when I am in Florida. I will not be listening to WPGB any longer as I cannot condone their actions. I can only hope and pray that they will be picked up by another station or perhaps the Internet. Our current administration is the lowest form of life there is on this planet. Quinn and Rose were the one bright star in a otherwise dimwit bevy of ho hum morning shows. Liberals want war then they shell have war and they are not going to like it. There was a very good reason Air America failed so badly. Liberals have to lie to get what they want. When you have to lie about your agenda or program then you don’t really have an agenda or program. If Obama had been truthful he would have never become president.

I found Quinn and Rose in 2004 when we moved to West Virginia and I had an hour drive to work. They are better than any other talk show. I woke up at 6am in the summer (I am a history teacher) when I was off just to listen to them. I listened to them when we vacationed in the Outer Banks. I am furious they are off the air. I have heard all kinds of excuses but buy none of them. I will support anyone that puts them back on the air. They are worth every penny they earn.
I could not believe it when I learned that Quinn and Rose would not be on 104.7 in the mornings. I truly don’t know the reason for it at this time. Money maybe, political most likely. I have spread the word about their show for years, now I will spread the word about how 104.7 and clear channel has done to the public that loves their. I will not listen to 104.7 again.
I know Quinn and Rose will be back on the air somewhere, just don’t know when. They are so special. You can tell by the number of post just in this place how much Quinn and Rose are loved and respect. God bless you Quinn and Rose and hope to hear you on the radio or tv soon.

Been listening since the mid 90’s. Newstalk was OK but now is going left. Only two worthwhile shows left (Rush & Hanniity). Don’t know if they want low-budget or low value….maybe both. It is a sad state of affairs that has befallen all the fans of Quinn and Rose. I have been with Quinn since 1994, the Thursday night think tanks at Kangaroos in the north hills were where I became a fan. The common sense and wit of Quinn are unparalleled and will be sorely missed. I will wait for Quinn and Rose to resurface, but I will also no longer listen to 104.7 as it is of no benefit to me. Clear Channel is clueless as to what they have lost, Quinn and Rose were the anchors of the station, 104.7, is now a rudderless ship adrift in the radio wasteland.
I have nothing against Bloomdaddy, but he just doesn’t compare to Quinn and Rose. Too bad, as I had changed my opinion of Clear Channel based solely on the fact they carried Quinn and Rose. Without knowing the specifics of the separation it’s impossible to know why such a successful network as Clear Channel would make what appears to be a stupid business decision.
I would listen to all 4 hours of the show… yes, even the 1 hour repeat. Now, my radio is turned off. I simply can’t stand the empty prattle of the replacement. Clear Channel, your head is firmly inserted up your butt.

Clear Channel has obviously caved to some of the liberal groups who have been attacking conservative talk radio. Having a liberal hack at the top doesn’t help either. I enjoyed Quinn and Rose (and Mark Levin) and I sincerely hope that Clear Channel goes under for their stupidity. Just removed 104.7 from my vehicles’ presets and from my IHeartRadio app. It’s going to be hard for the station to make money with no audience.
