Proposed Eight FM Draper Deal Yields Competitor Denial Ask

With a loosening of local ownership rules a widespread desire among radio broadcast station owners and the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), there’s been scant protest of companies that seek a waiver from the FCC to acquire a property that would put them in violation of limits currently on the books at the Commission.


In Delaware, the licensee of two radio stations has voiced its opposition to a proposed deal that would see Draper Media end up as the owner of eight FM radio stations on the Delmarva Peninsula.
