Pelican State FM Pair Trading Hands

An FM pair serving a rural part of Louisiana between Bossier City and Monroe has been sold.


Pending FCC approval, they’ll be in the hands of Omega Entertainment LLC.

 

 

Selling KRLQ-FM in Hodge, La., and KWXM-FM in Simsboro, La., is William Warren Brown Sr., through his North Louisiana Broadcasting.

And, he stands to earn $800,000 from the sale of the stations known as “Q94.1,” with a Country format, and “The New Roux 102,” offering “Solid Gold & Blues” to such cities as Ruston and Martin, La.

A $40,000 escrow deposit has been made, with the remainder due in cash at closing.

The buyer is headed by Brandon Forester.

Serving as the legal counsel in this deal is Mark Denbo of Smithwick & Belendiuk.
