The Ranking Member of the House Energy & Commerce Committee, which maintains oversight of the Federal Communications Commission, has blasted the agency’s 2-1 party-line approval of the long-simmering merger between David Ellison-led Skydance Media and CBS News & Stations parent Paramount Global.
His comments come after the lone Democrat on the Commission challenged her Republican colleagues in a blistering dissent.
