U.S.-based audio processing specialist Orban has appointed an individual who has represented such brands as Klotz, Harman and Lectrosonics to the top sales role for its Baden-Württemberg, Germany-based European operations. This will see him lead sales across the Middle East and Africa as well as in France, Italy, Spain and Portugal.
Earning the post is Jim Bakker. He reports to SVP of Global Sales Mike Pappas, who commented, “With his extensive industry background Jim is a great addition to our sales team as we expand our product offering to keep pace with the growing demands of our customer base. I look forward to working closely with Jim in the important markets that he is assuming responsibility for.”
Bakker said, “I am excited to be joining Orban, a worldwide leader in its field, especially in this 50th anniversary year and at a time of rapid changes in the marketplace. I am looking forward to meeting our customers and dealers at the upcoming IBC.”
