According to Nueva Network founder and CEO José Villafañe, Himonidis, known to listeners as Chiquibaby, is expanding El Show de Chiquibaby beyond terrestrial radio with the launch of the daily podcast.

The podcast will feature highlights from a weekday program that includes “OMG moments,” film reviews, “Sports Biz,” beauty tips and other topics of interest to Latinas. Chiquibaby also sees Himonidis share her personal anecdotes and real-life struggles. New episodes will appear weekdays at 6am Eastern on the Uforia app, and all “major podcast platforms.”

“I am so grateful to Uforia and Nueva Network for allowing me to have a voice in the media and having The Chiquibaby Show now on the Uforia platform,” Himonidis said. “I’m also thrilled to be back with this company where my career began in southern California.”

While Himonidis spent nearly 8 1/2 years with NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises, until exiting in November 2022, she was a morning show host for SBS’s Regional Mexican “La Raza” radio stations located in Los Angeles and San Francisco from May 2014 to January 2015. She joined SBS after spending two years as an on-air personality at Univision’s Spanish Adult Contemporary KLVE “Radio Amor” in Los Angeles, starting in January 2012. Himonidis has also worked at radio stations in Las Vegas and San Diego for Univision, and for CBS Radio in Fresno some 20 years ago. Himonidis began her professional career in Guadalajara, as an on-air personality for “Super Stereo 100.3” under NRM.
