The California Eastern District Court that put into effect a preliminary injunction preventing Nexstar Media Group from fully merging its acquired TEGNA assets has received a proposed amended schedule for when it will formally hear arguments in a trial that would determine whether the combination of the two companies is an antitrust violation.
That trial, in District Judge Troy Nunley‘s court, wouldn’t start until after Independence Day — next year.
