NewsNet Parent Gains A LPTV From the Druckers

The build-out of a network of owned-and-operated low-power television stations that will serve as a broadcast home for the NewsNet 24/7 information source has continued, with its parent company agreeing to acquire a LPTV serving the Colorado Springs market.

The sellers are Penny and David Drucker.

Bridge News LLC, the Vince Bodiford-led operation bankrolled by 5-Hour Energy inventor Manoj Bhargava, is agreeing to purchase KTNP-LD 4 in Colorado Springs, Colo. from the Drucker’s Denver Digital Television.

A $500,000 purchase price has been agreed upon, with a 10% deposit being held by the legal counsel of record in this transaction, Dan J. Alpert.

There is no broker or finder associated with this deal.

The KTNP transaction comes following a December 2023 agreement between Bridge News and the Druckers that saw the NewsNet parent acquire five Alaska facilities for $100,000.
