Nearly Five Years Later, Dick Moves Ahead On Alpha Deal

On September 5, 2017Dick Broadcasting Co. decided to grow again after deciding to pare down their assets in the early 2000s. The company owned by CEO Allen Dick and led by COO Dick Harlow moved forward with the purchase of 18 radio stations across the Carolinas and in Georgia from Alpha Media.

Interestingly, the deal never closed, and Dick has been operating the properties via a LMA ever since. That’s about to change, however, as the FCC has received freshly signed Asset Purchase Agreement paperwork seeking regulatory approval of the long-planned transaction.
