With the specter of the novel coronavirus’ spread becoming a potentially crippling international pandemic, the 2020 NATPE Miami Conference was staged at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach. It would become the final event at the venue, as the organization behind those affairs would declare bankruptcy in 2022 after nixing a January 2023 Bahamas conference.
Instead, a reborn Miami event under the NATPE Global name would arrive in January 2024 at the Intercontinental Hotel in downtown Miami under new event owner Brunico Communications. Now, after three attempts to bring back the old magic, Brunico is pulling the plug. But, it cites a changing business climate and not internal fiscal challenges for the decision.
