WASHINGTON, D.C. — The NAB has announced that it will expand the “Sports Summit” aligned with its annual conference and expo in Las Vegas to a four-day affair, bringing leaders from across leagues, teams, broadcast networks, streaming platforms and technology companies to the hub of television and radio’s present and future growth.
Presented in the Sports Theater on the West Hall show floor at the Las Vegas Convention Center, the Sports Summit seeks to explore how production, distribution, investment and policy “are reshaping live sports experiences and driving new revenue opportunities.”
The Summit is open for the first time to all NAB Show attendees with a Show Floor Pass across this year’s event, which opens April 18 ahead of the April 19 exhibit hall opening. The NAB Show closes April 22, 2026.
Headlining the Sports Summit is NBC Sports President of Acquisitions and Partnerships Jon Miller. He will be in conversation for a fireside keynote that looks into the strategy behind NBC’s major rights acquisitions and distribution partnerships at “a pivotal moment” for the industry.
For NBC, Miller’s appearance comes following Super Bowl LX, the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics and the NBA All-Star Game — all on NBC in February 2026. The timing is also intriguing given the FCC’s introduction this week of MB Docket No. 26-45, which focuses on sports broadcasting practices and marketplace developments.
The Sports Summit will include other panel discussions on such topics as:
“The State of Sports Media: Rights, Reach & Revenue”
“Privacy Equity, Sovereign Wealth and the Future of Sports Ownership”
“Athletes as Enterprises: Power, Platforms and Ownership”
“Sports Betting and the New Fan Economy”
“Women’s Sports at an Inflection Point”
“Globalization of Sports: Building Fans Beyond Borders”
“The Fan Experience Reimagined”
“Stadiums of the Future: Tech-Driven Venue Experiences”
“The economics of sports media are being rewritten in real time,” said Karen Chupka, executive vice president and managing director, NAB Global Connections and Events. “With Jon Miller and leaders from across leagues, teams, venues and investment groups, we’re bringing together the executives who are actively shaping the future of rights, partnerships and fan engagement.”
