Did Nexstar Media Group “force” DBS provider DirecTV to pay for a Big Four network affiliate while the nation’s largest owner of broadcast TV stations knew it was about to lose the facility’s affiliation with NBC?
The Supreme Court of the State of New York says yes, and as such Nexstar has been ordered to repay the direct broadcast satellite TV services provider for fees associated with what is today an unaffiliated TV station branded as “DC News Now.”
