She’s been associated with Beasley Media Group in a key revenue-focused C-Suite role. Now, she’s working alongside Connoisseur Media head Jeff Warshaw as a Senior Vice President for the Western Region, taking a particular focus on the privately held company’s Northern California broadcast assets.

Tina Murley will also serve as Market Manager for Connoisseur’s soon-to-be-acquired San Francisco stations, which it is purchasing from Bonneville International, and the San Jose radio stations it obtained from its Alpha Media deal.

Murley formerly served as Chief Revenue Officer for Beasley, where she was widely respected for her leadership, strategic vision, and strong track record of revenue growth across major markets, Connoisseur said in an announcement distributed on Monday morning.

“Tina is exactly the kind of leader we look for at Connoisseur,” Warshaw said in prepared comments. “She brings exceptional operational instincts and a people-first leadership style that aligns perfectly with our culture. We could not be more excited to welcome her to the Connoisseur family as we continue to grow our presence on the West Coast.”

Murley added, “I am thrilled to be joining Connoisseur Media at such an exciting moment in the company’s growth. Connoisseur’s commitment to local markets, strong teams, and authentic community connection on truly resonates with me. I’m excited to take on Western Regional responsibilities while leading the San Francisco and San Jose markets and look forward to building something special with this team.”

Murley became Chief Revenue Officer at Beasley in March 2020. In that role, Murley had oversight of a team of more than 200 sales professionals, “responsible for generating $230 million in national, local, network, and digital sales across 10 major markets.” She also managed relationships with such partners as Marketron, Madhive, Westwood One, Katz Media, Skyview Networks, Triton, Nielsen, Futuri, VCreative, Sharebuilders, and Amazon, she said.

“During my tenure, I led Beasley’s digital transformation and evolved our traditional sales team approach to a digital-first mindset — anchored in new ways of working, updated KPIs, and data-driven decision making,” Murley said. “With this shift, I led digital sales from $9 million to $55 million in five years.” Murley also oversaw the implementation of a new digital workflow combining 16 technology tools and platforms onto one unified source, and additional strategic partnerships to enhance operating efficiencies.

Murley first joined Beasley Media Group in September 2015 as EVP of Sales, focused on the Boston marketplace. She earned the role after formerly serving as VP/Director of Sales for Greater Media, the company from which Beasley acquired its Philadelphia, Detroit and Boston properties.

Prior to joining Greater Media, Murley served as Sales Manager of WBZ-4 in Boston, from January 2011-September 2014. Before that, she was a Senior AE for Hearst Television’s crosstown WCVB-5. And from June 1998 through July 2009, Murley was associated with CBS Radio’s Boston stations.

Tina Murley is a 2022 member of the NAB Broadcast Leadership Training Program.
