ROUND ROCK, TEX. — The Texas Association of Broadcasters’ TAB Show begins Wednesday (8/5), with two days of panel sessions and an exposition that includes the presence of a New York-headquartered company that for 50 years has attracted broadcasters for its video and, more recently, its fiber optic systems.
MultiDyne Video & Fiber Optic Systems is a pioneer when it comes to signal conversion and fiber-optic-based transport systems for the broadcast, cable, satellite, production and digital cinema industries. Now, it is placing its portfolio of fiber transport and signal conversion products under a spotlight at the TAB Show, convening at the Kalahari Resort & Convention Center in Round Rock, Tex.
Exhibiting at Booth 404, MultiDyne says it will demonstrate how its flagship product families continue to support broadcasters while meeting the growing infrastructure needs of corporate media.
MultiDyne’s flagship SilverBack, VersaBrix and VersaFrame products will be on display, including the new VF-9100 fiber transmission platform, which expands the VersaFrame platform with modern RESTful API integration, enhanced modularity and improved monitoring capabilities.
MultiDyne will also show its new FiberSaver-10G multiplexer, which reduces fiber requirements by transporting multiple independent 10GbE networks over a single fiber strand. Together, the products can build more flexible IP-based production environments for SDI, SMPTE ST 2110, Dante AV and NDI workflows, MultiDyne notes.
