He joined iHeartMedia in 2020 as Program Director for KWNR “95.5 The Bull” in Las Vegas and has experience in the Country, Top 40 and Hip-Hop formats, even serving as “Country Format Captain” for Alpha Media.
Now, MoJoe Roberts will be overseeing what comes out of the speakers for the company’s four audio brands serving audiences in Southern Nevada.
Roberts is now SVP of Programming for The Bull as well as market-leading KSNE “Sunny 106.5,” and Rock-focused Adult Hits KYMT “95.5 The Mountain,” in addition to KYMT HD2, which uses an FM translator to offer hip-hop to Las Vegas as “Real 103.9.”
He reports to Glynn Alan, Market President for iHeartMedia Las Vegas. “MoJoe has played a pivotal role in driving 95.5 The Bull’s ratings success and overall market growth,” said Alan. “His promotion to Senior Vice President of Programming is a testament to his exceptional leadership. I am confident that his vision will continue to elevate our programming and strengthen our brands across the cluster.”
Roberts noted that he is grateful for the opportunity to grow with the company in a city I love as he thanked iHeartMedia “for their trust and belief in me to lead the Las Vegas team.”
Roberts was associated with KUPL-FM in Portland, Ore., from April 2016 until joining KWNR just as the COVID-19 pandemic was wreaking havoc on the U.S. Before that, he spent nearly four years in Modesto and Stockton, Calif., at Hip-Hop KWIN & KWNN. From May 2006 through June 2012, Roberts was across the hall at Cumulus Media’s co-owned KHOP-FM.
Earlier in his career, Roberts also served as Asst. PD/MD at KATM-FM in Stockton, and before that as Music Director of KQFC-FM in Boise, Idaho.
