John Yob and his Mitten News LLC has agreed to donate a Class D AM radio station with 10kw during daylight hours but a mere 10 watts at night to a religious broadcasting institution.
WWMN-AM 1110 in Petoskey, Mich., which reaches Gaylord, Cheboygan and Mackinaw Island, is poised to become a property of West Central Michigan Media Ministries.
Paperwork has been filed at the Commission seeking its regulatory approval, with Seth Williams of Fletcher, Heald & Hildreth representing Mitten News in front of the FCC.
The buyer’s legal counsel is Donald E. Martin.
