Mark Shecterle has been named Vice President/Market Manager of Cox Media Group’s radio stations in San Antonio, transferring from a similar role in Tulsa.
He takes the new role on February 24, and Shecterle will oversee all of CMG’s radio stations in the market, including “99.5 KISS FM,” KONO-AM & FM, “106.7 FM The Eagle,” Country “Y100 FM,” and KKYX-AM 680, which uses an FM translator at 104.9 MHz.
Shecterle succeeds David Abel, who was recently named VP and Market Manager of CMG Atlanta Radio.
“Mark is an impactful leader with a strong track record of building and developing great teams, serving the community, and delivering results for clients and CMG,” said Rob Babin, CMG’s Executive VP for Radio. “His background and experience make him a perfect match for CMG San Antonio’s high-performing team.”
