He’s spent the last 10 years as Chief Engineer of Beasley Media Group‘s Las Vegas radio stations, working on such ratings champions as KKLZ-FM. Now, he’s joined the team at MaxxKonnect to serve as a Senior Engineer for the Southeastern U.S.
Taking the role at the company known for its contract engineering, broadcast system design, and connectivity offerings to U.S. radio stations is Steve Griesbach. He’s tasked with supporting local MK-serviced stations from the MaxxKonnect offices in Birmingham, Ala., as well as assisting the “MKts” build team on projects across the country.
Griesbach is well-known across the radio engineering space, and before taking over Beasley’s Las Vegas engineering needs in 2016 was associated with Cumulus Media, in Wisconsin. He began his radio career in 1986 as an on-air talent, transitioning into engineering after completing technology courses through the Cleveland Institute of Electronics. He earned his first full-time Chief Engineer role in 1990.
MaxxKonnect President/CEO Josh Bohn says, “Steve and I go back more than 15 years. His knowledge, work ethic and down-to-earth attitude make him a superb fit for our team. I am so happy to have him join us!”
Griesbach comments, “I’ve known Josh for years, and I’m really looking forward to expanding my knowledge of the connectivity side of the MaxxKonnect Group, as well as continuing to grow my knowledge and expertise as a broadcast engineer.”
