A Luckey, Ohio Deal For A Country ‘Wolf’

The Class A branded as “Toledo’s Only Independent Country Music Station” is about to change owners.

When the transaction is complete, that slogan should still hold true for this “Luckey” FM serving such Ohio municipalities as Bowling Green.

The station being traded is WPFX-FM 107.7 in Luckey, Ohio, and it is being spun to Patton Advertizing Enterprises (sic) by Toledo Radio LLC.

Patton is paying $995,000 for the facility, branded as “The Wolf.”

Terms of the deal call for a $233,000 cash payment and the codification of a Promissory Note valued at $762,000.

The notes will be from DJH Holding LLC, Lora Koralewski and James McRitchie, respectively, in the amounts of $250,000, $580,000 and $250,000.

The buyer is led by managing member Daniel Haslinger.
