NAB-Backed ‘LRFA’ Gains Steam In Congress

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Twelve members of the House of Representatives and a Republican Senator from Oklahoma have added their support to a resolution opposing “any new performance fee, tax, royalty, or other charge” on local broadcast radio stations.


The support dwarfs that of the “American Music Fairness Act,” pushed by the former New York Congressman infamously ousted by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in a primary election.
